La Quinta
La Quinta is a quiet resort town that’s virtually encircled by the Santa Rosa Mountains. Its name is derived from the La Quinta Resort, which in 1926 was established for prominent socialites and Hollywood celebs. Old Town Village boasts casual and upscale dining, boutique shops and a variety of recreational activity. La Quinta is recognized as the leading golf destination in the country, per the Robb Report, with over 20 courses, including world famous PGA West. One of its main attractions, the La Quinta Museum, displays an array of cultural displays and native animals with an ever-changing layout.
